なのか
イヌタイプだからネコ
なのか

why cats?
is it because she is a cat person
or because she is a dog person?

二人でしゃべってるとかならず
どっちかがネコ役でどっちかがイヌ役、だそうだ
Whenever two people talk, one will play the cat and one the dog.
ネコが「こうしよう」と、いうと
イヌは「いいよ」とか「いやだ」と、いう
Cats propose things to do, dogs either accept or veto proposals.

ネコとネコでは、うまくいかない。盛り上がるが、最後はけんか。
Cat and cat doesn't work. It's all very exciting for a while, but in the end you're going to end up fighting.
イヌとイヌもうまくいかない。盛り上がらず、しりきれとんぼ。
Dog and dog doesn't work. You never do anything exciting together. Things eventually just peter out.
