年が明けたら、白いうつわをつくろ
男鹿半島・椿の白岩の釉薬をかけよ、っと

まずは岩砕き
さらに細かく
すりつぶす
じゃりじゃり
男鹿半島の海辺を走っていた
朝・思い浮かべながら

pounding and pounding
the sound reminds me of
the seashore along which
I was driving one summer
to discover beautiful white rocks
ふるう

sifting to get
fine dust fraction

土釉 'slip glaze' のこと探してたら
おもしろい人、みつけた
Brian Sutherland（1929-1998）
やはり、土石を砕いて、ワクワクして釉薬つくった
イギリス人、のようだ

there was no rock which could not become a glaze, or part ofa glaze, and I was determined to prove it.
どんな石でも釉薬になるはずだ、と、実験にとりかかった、らしい
