手びねり急須のパーツ-Hand Build Teapot

午前、
手回しろくろで粘土玉
押し込むように穴あけ
指ではさんであげてく

In the morning,
the body, lid, spout, and
handle were hand built.

午後、
いくらか乾いたパーツ
角度みながらくっつけ
蓋の取っ手かたつむり

指跡を綺麗にするなら
最初から電動ろくろに
すればいいのだけれど
なごやかな土との時間

In the afternoon,
they are dry enough to
put together.
The clay will respond to
the merest touch of my fingers.
