（流紋岩質火山岩+黒曜石/火山ガラス？）

八千穂高原（富士山見えた）--駒出池畔--小海
南相木村--野辺山--明野--韮崎IC--御坂一宮IC

We stopped by Togariishi Jomon Archaeological Museum in Chino.
The "Venus of Jomon", 27 cm high clay figure of a pregnant woman,
which was made "approximately 4,500 years ago".

黒ムツのアラ-Marmalade Sauce for Fish

お行儀の良い「切り身」より
「アラ」は、料理を刺激する
むしろ脂のって、しかも安っ

"Cuisson improvisée"
After sautéing, remove the Gnomefish fillet
from the pan and add some
home-made marmalade /soy sauce/'ponzu'.
Why not add 'some mustard'?
it turned out so yummy.

大菩薩の椎茸（6cm D)　傷みかけてた
っで、椎茸にハンバーグ詰めて煮込んだ

"Bifteck de Hambourg aux champignons"
An idea came to me when I saw
mushrooms starting to go bad.

--Hamburg (ground beef, chopped onion...)
　stuffed shiitake mushroom with
--Tomato sauce simmered on stove top
--Naan (baked on lava plate/flour, egg, yogurt.....)
--Full body red wine from Argentina
--Salad (lettus, Ipomoea aquatica, spinach)
--Persimmon fruit

冬スープ-Winter Soup Rim Bowl

二日間、薪ストーブの上で
コトコト、じんわりとコク

ただ土鍋に残った魚の煮汁に
水、馬鈴薯、人参、鶏モモ肉
ザータル、オリーブ油加えて

The leftover cooking liquid from fish
turned into rich soup on the wood stove
for two days.

A tiny tiny hand-pinched
cup, that's recently fired.
My lips are puckered
and I sip sake dew.

牛肉は地味-Beef Color Not Appetiting

牛肉、だとわかってればこそ
うまいが、美しくはない色だ
黄と緑と白に助けられた牛丼

"Couleurs à manger"
Gyudon, a bowl of rice topped
with beef, which loses it red color
when fully cooked.
So spinach, egg and tofu must
retain their attractive color.

語源は"lentil"（ﾋﾗﾏﾒ）観天望気

"Nuages et temps"
Yesterday around noon I saw
cap clouds hovering over
the mountain. which is anyone's
quickest weather report.

「救出劇」に飛びついたテレビ
炭酸カルシウムで軟らかい地質
重金属「銅」のことは伝えない

ハンガリーのアルミニウム精錬廃液
強アルカリ性の赤い汚泥は伝えない

TV news covered the rescue of
33 trapped Chile miners, but not
the 'collapsible geology' nor 'copper'.
They covered almost none of 'arsenic
and mercury' in the red sludge.

Ikura-don is a bowl of rice topped with
salmon roe marinated in soy sauce overnight.

きんつばと青小皿-Sweet on Blue Plate

小豆や栗、甘藷の甘煮つぶして
にぎにぎ、粉の水溶きまぶして
少量の油でころころ、六方焼く

"Un peu du bonbon"
Kintsuba is 'anko'
(sweet bean, sweet potato
or chestnut paste), coated
with a thin layer of flour+water.
It's typically molded into a square,
of which six sides are fried in a
lightly greased frying pan.

木々のすきまから
見上げると小さい、空
歩きはじめてまもなく

"Les nuages d'automne"
I am always looking up
to the sky through trees.
As I walk every morning,
the sky opens up over me
and I feel hugged.

おでんと佐渡の皿-Sado Yakishime Plate

なるほど、おでんは御田
豊作祈る田舞(たまい) が
「田楽舞」となり...云々

土味感じる焼締め似合う

"Pendant un jour froid"
'Oden' is a hot pot-- daikon (radish),
processed fish cakes, konnyaku (yam cake),
and more stewed in a light, soy-flavoured dashi broth.
It deepens in flavor while cooled overnight, and so
begin at least one day before.
The word seems to come from 'Dengaku Dance'
to pray for rich harvest.

つぶやく、人生は道草にあり

"J'aime la lenteur"
Rosa multiflora thorns prick me
and murmur life lies in Michi-kusa,
literally Grass on the wayside, as a
horse would 'dilly-dally' by stopping
to eat the grass.

豚生姜焼き豆腐丼-"Donburi" in Burgundy Bowl

なんだって、どんぶり
豚肉+絹厚揚げ+ネギ+空心菜
生姜+出汁醤油+みりん

"Le 'donburi' est un bol de grande taille."
Pork, tofu, 'negi' leek and water spinach
seasoned with ginger, soy sauce and sake
on top of steaming rice.
Donburi can be made from almost any
ingredients, including left-overs.

火宿す「割れ」-Caressing the Split

よくきたねぇ、と
火あびて溶け合い
ぎりぎり留まった
割れ、いとおしい

"Bienvenue!!"
I would caress the split/crack
in the clay body, of which
particles fused together and
survived the heat thankfully.

栗菓子と風の皿-Chestnut & 'Wind' Plate

食後、でも間に合う
栗とお芋のデザート

栗と甘藷と水、小鍋で煮る
柔らかめ、になってきたら
蜂蜜とマーマレード加えて
フォークでつぶし水飛ばす

After lunch I wanted something sweet.
I looked at the peeled chestnuts
we collected and an idea came to me.
Cook chestnuts and sweet potato until tender.
Mash with fork and mix in honey and marmalade.
When all of the water is gone, it's done.

My ceramic piece:13.5cm X 4.5cm /Le titre est "vent".
