ズッキーニ-Zucchini

はじめて食べたのは
1992年8月シアトル
友だちのLさんが5㎝
ほどの縦薄切りをオーブン
皿に並べてチーズと焼いて

それに「Z」ではじまる
野菜だなんて、かっこい
一緒に思い出も食べている

I remember the time when I heard the name
"zucchini" for the first time.
A friend of mine in Seattle baked zucchini
with bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese.
Since then I always taste the memory, too.
