雪うさぎ-Rabbits in Snow

雨、が、みぞれ、になり
べた雪が、さらさら雪に

突風、粉砂糖雪さらうと
落ち葉の大地はふかふか
道路、ぎんぎんに凍って

Occasional gusts were producing
blowing and drifting of the powdery snow.
Although the snow was only 5cm deep,
I shoveled the path, for it should turn into ice.
In the early evening I chose Sting's
"Songs from the Labyrinth" with the curtains open.
