柿赤の「たのシーサー」-Fun Lion-Dog Guardian

我が輩は、ガラス目玉の
なんだか愉快なシーサー
で、ござる

べんがらを調合したマットな
柿赤が気にいっちゃっている

それと、栃木の芦野石を調合した
すすけた薄茶の釉薬がハモっている

I AM a Shisa born at the foot of Mt.Fuji.
I like these two homemade persimmon red matt glaze
and shabby light brown local rock glaze in harmony.

"Shisa," is originally the Okinawan lion-dog guardian deity.

ガラスは、ワインや酒瓶を
慎重に、細かく叩き砕いて、
色分けして保存してあるので

目の中に乳濁釉を塗ってから
ピンセットでガラス片を入れる

H13cm: D14cm:W12cm

威嚇するより、「愉快」な表情は、きっと守り神
The eyes are filled with small glass pieces, which
I prepare by crushing colorful bottles.
Funny, not threatening, attitude shall protect you.
