白化粧したカタツムリ-white slip snail cup

where are your going?

all are of red clay and white slip applied with a brush

カップの「色」は、
皿の中の「水」の色を想っている
カタツムリは釉薬を塗り重ねて....
cups would be the water color in the plate
snails would be painted with several glazes

「土を焼く」のは「想う」ことだ
the whole process is done while imagining what the finished piece will look like

この白絵土は原土
乳鉢で擂って
「粗め」と茶こしで漉した「細め」

ろくろでカップをつくり
翌日カタツムリにのせる

というか
カップをさかさにして
カタツムリ「を」のせる

ひっくりかえして
カップがまっすぐ
これがなかなかむずかしい

けさは12.8度、あったか（はじめてストーブをつけない夜だった）
