空色のイグアナ-Fun Whimsical Clay Iguana

はじめから
「なんだか愉快な」というのが、
土をかたちにする、私の根っこだった

'A touch of whimsy' was the root of my creation, shaping clay,
and still IS.




あのイグアナさんが焼かれて出てきたら、おしゃれイグアナになっちゃった。
何とも迫力のあるイグアナやね....と、K ちゃん

栃木県の芦野石・那須塩原の土の釉薬や、色釉を
素焼きイグアナに、絵の具のように塗り重ねていく
ときどき宙を見ては、焼き上がりの色を想像する

I apply glazes of local clays or rocks or minerals
I stop and Iook up into air and imagine the colors when fired


つかず離れずの、ちょっと小柄な道連れイグアナ

A life partner smaller Iguna
not too close, not too far away.
