瑠璃玉薊・コッツウｫルドの庭-"learn to wait"

ルリタマアザミの小さな苗・庭に植えた
花を見たのは、それから2--3年してからだった

It took a couple of years to bloom.
I almost forgot it, and then the 'light-blue globes'

植物は、じつに強い
待ってれば、いい

Plants help me learn to wait.
The morning comes (or may not come) when the flowers are in full, glorious bloom.


紫がかった静かな・水色

やわらかい、庭の花の色は
コッツウｫルドの散歩・想う

庭で紫の花の枝を刈り込んでる女性に
「もう冬の準備？」と、声かけたら
「そうよ」と

So delicate, and soft colors in the garden
remind me of walking in the Cotswolds (Sept. 2005)
I asked a woman cutting back in the garden,
"Already getting your garden ready for winter?"
She answered, "Already!"
