リュックの旅ガエルII-Earthy tone glazes

採取土石を調合した釉薬は
大地のやさしい色合いを生む

まるで絵を描くように、筆で
いろんな釉薬を重ねていく

Rocks and clay I collected create gentle earth tones.
I apply glazes the way I paint pictures,
using variety of glazes at the same time.

土石釉を実験してるうちに
生きものの肌に、これが合う
ように思えてきた

The more test pieces I make with clays and rocks,
the more I feel like creating wildlife in clay.





きのうも、体験教室にいらしたグループと
いっしょに、私は、イグアナII・つくった

胴体に新聞をまるめてつめながら・からだ

I made my second iguana, stuffing the body with newspaper
yesterday, while the guests in one-day class were making pieces.
