簡単リゾット-Pork Risotto

冷蔵庫の残りごはん
とろとろ、ではなく
すっきりしあげたい

フライパンのトマトソース
+豚肉+ハバネロ酢+塩
+チーズくつくつきたら
ほうれん草とごはんを
加えいっきにからめる

深皿に盛り、ミョウガと
ごま油を、散らす

米(Riso)+最高(ottimo） なるほど

There's nothing easier than making a delicious meal
with minimum effort and very little cost
when there is left-over cooked rice in the fridge.
Be careful not to make it liguidy.

月見草の蜜-Bee Fly not Bee

夜明けの月見草/待宵草
蜂？と思いきや
どうやら、アブ
「虻蜂とらず」の......

そういわれれば
ほら、１対の翅
ハナアブはハエ、かぁ

Early morning on an evening-primrose flower,
a bee fly is drinking nectar.
They have hairless legs and only
two wings-'so easy' enough
to spot from bees.
Actually I didn't know that it's a fly.

Face IV-Basic Lines

見ているようで
見ていない、顔

一瞬とがった目
ふくらんだ小鼻
笑ったほっぺた

顔の記憶はしかし
あまりにも曖昧だ

Face sculpture can capture the basic lines in a human face
and hopefully portray the emotion surrounding it.
In fact I can get only a dim picture of a face.

尾瀬の地衣-Oze Lichen

鳩待峠（1,591）から木道を
湿原に向かっておりていくと
水の流れと、岩の上に地衣類


河口湖でみかける、松に
へばりつくウメノキゴケ
とは違う、ことはわかる？？



地衣は、土づくりのスターターらしい。

The lichens penetrate the upper coat of the rock.

赤貝の目-Lines in Clay Surface

一度目のサヤ焼成で
外側に緋色が出たが
灰釉が溶けなかった

で、赤貝にかぶせ
酸化で再焼成した
やすり、で削って
フュージョン物語

I re-fired the bowl, which was once fired in saggar.
This time I put it upside down on sea shells.
The clay body and the shell fuse together in the glaze.

誰も本当にはみていなかった

One after one
it's nobody but it may be somebody.
Familiar faces come into my mind.
I am quite moved by the fact that
I haven't looked at any of them really.

背赤角亀虫-Acanthosoma denticauda

いやな顔されるカメムシ
だが、これにはびっくり
散歩道・また道草を食う
赤いハサミで♀捕まえる

Everywhere it goes it leaves behind a stinking trail.
That's why it is such an unwanted animal.
But the colors are amazing.

名札をつける-Identity

不思議なんだが
名札をつけると
存在がはっきり
だからといって
石は束縛しない
しされもしない

When we label people, we put restrictions on
how we perceive them, as well as how they perceive themselves.
Rocks are different in that there is no interaction.
Labels just help me get to know them(not each other).

御坂峠から甲府盆地を抜け
雁坂（karisaka）トンネルから荒川沿い
いっきに下り、秩父・長瀞（nagatoro）

大滝村の断崖岩穴の看板
「縄文人住居跡神庭（kaniwa）洞窟」
村営グランドから道がある
らしい------気になるなぁ

上長瀞で、胡麻味噌ダレ「雪わりそば」
抹茶わらびもちつき・蜜で「氷」も楽しむ


河原で、石観察（蛇紋岩？）
レンガ鉄橋見あげると...あら！
「自然の博物館」で、埼玉の鉱物・岩石
「川下り」、水少なくこれぞ
「瀞---穏やかな水面」---No Thrill!

The geology of Nagatoro is typified by exposed terraces of chlorite schist.
I collected some seemingly serpentinite, metamorphic rock.

10年看板-Old Signboard

ありあわせの端材で
よく、がんばったね
防食テープの外れで
弱って傾きかげんだ

こんどは、木材を購入
杉板・赤松角材・沓石
塗料、しめて7239円

This was made using scrap wood ten years ago.
Now it's time to retire. I'd like to say 'Thank you'.
I decided to make another one and
'bought' some wood---matsu(pine), sugi (cedar) .

くりぬいて
詰め物して
かぼちゃ、って
なんだか愉しい
それにしても、夏空やーい

Hollow out a miniature pumpkin.
I don't know if it is their yellow/orange color or
their round shape but we are attracted to them.

トマトの果実-Tomato Fruit

いただいたトマト
ずっしりと手応え
濃厚な果肉感じる

大切に育てられたんだね
そうだ、丸かじりしよっ


I received some home grown tomatoes and vegetables.
They are infinitely more flavorful than anything you can buy.
Imagine the first bite into this fully-ripened fruit.

おいなりさん@Picture Plate

マットな青紫だった
40cmほどの長皿に
透明釉+乳濁釉+銅釉
で、絵を描き、焼いた
緑・青・白溶け合って
大好きなグラデーション
まずは、おいなりさん

This long plate was matt blue purple
for 7 years. I decided to re-fire it.
I applied clear, white, and green glazes
like painting with brushes.
This made the colors bleed into each other
and give a nice gradation.

左右の波打つ貝
合わせてみると
ぴったり噛み合う
しかも
前背縁に足糸開口（穴）

珊瑚礁、の浅瀬に棲み
体内の共生藻に排泄物
与え、光合成、させる

自分の精子と卵が受精しないよう
最初に放精、続いて放卵.......

不思議なふしぎな
宮古島のシャコ貝

陶ボタンのっけた
海にさしこむ太陽

A seashell from Miyakojima island.
Ceramic buttons just out of kiln make me
think of coral reefs----colorful marine life.

窯出-Just Out of Kiln

二度めの焼成をなんとか
サヴィアブしたどんぶり
直径 21cmx高さ7.5cm

窯の中段で焼いたが
釉薬が高台まで流れ
中は発泡してブクに

ちょいと危ないが、
さっそくおかず盛る

While the second firing,
the glazes fused nicely.
But they ran to the bottom outside
and bubbled in the center inside.
I carefully used it for dinner--salmon with vegetables.
